"Thank you for sending the BCI slide show and the brochures so promptly. On April 9th, I presented the slide show as the program for our monthly caving group, the Louisville Grotto. Our local bat expert, Ron Wilson, answered questions after the program. The people attending, 32, were very impressed with the quality of the slides and the information presented. I handed out your brochures to persons sincerely interested in joining BCI. On the following night I presented the program again in the Fort Knox Grotto. The response was the same.
The base (Ft. Knox) has a cave on it, which the cavers are trying to get the Army to fence off or gate to protect the cave and bats. The military cavers want to present this program to the Top Brass to try and convince them of the need for the protection measures.
I was asked by several people to do the program for Boy and Girl Scout groups and also for the local museum.
Thank you again for your help. If there is anything I can do to further help BCI please let me know.
My only complaint was that I wish the program were longer."
"I had a chance to look over some of your reading material, and was very much impressed. I am the Animal Control Supervisor for Harris County Health Department. I regularly am called to identify many different types of bats daily. I am looking forward to being a part of your organization."

"I gave another speech to my reading class at Glenwood Middle School and one to a third grade class at St. john's Elementary School. After I gave the speech to the third graders they insisted on giving me payment for talking to them, so I thought since the speech was for bats I would donate the money ($10.00) to BCI to help save bats."

"I enjoyed talking to you last week about your bat slide-tape. It is excellent! Please send me an application form for BCI. I am checking with our finance officer about the protocol for ordering your slide-tapes.
I will be ordering 16 sets for myself and 6 sets for our state park system. Best wishes."
