The United Nations declared 2011-2012 as International Year of the Bat and Bat Conservation International (BCI) as an International Year of the Bat Founding Partner.
As such, BCI organized and promoted bat conservation and celebration to hundreds and thousands around the globe.
But although Year of the Bat has officially ended, the many reasons to appreciate and celebrate bats remain, so we are extending our offer to join us as a Bat Conservation Friend, Partner or Sponsor.
If you have planned or would like to plan an event, BCI is ready to help (contact us).
Bat Conservation Partners & Friends
Friends are organizations or individuals who are holding any event related to bat conservation. Contact us to have your event listed on BCI’s Conservation Partners Webpage.
Partners receive copies of our YOTB Poster (see below) and many other bat conservation education materials, can have their logo and web link added to our Conservation Partners Webpage.
If you are thinking of sending this to press, a higher resolution file of this poster is available for Year of the Bat Partners.
Cornerstone Partners host signification regional and national events, receive all the benefits of Partner level plus a BCI staff member as a speaker for their event, assistance in contacting other speakers and presenters, and collaboration in fund raising and marketing of the event.
Sponsorships can be of any amount of generosity that fits your ability. Examples of needs follow: $50 to provide educational materials for a school class, $200 to purchase a bat detector for education programs, $500 to create a traveling bat conservation education display, $1,000 to support a public education symposium, $5,000 (or part thereof) to update workshop equipment.
